Letters are powerful.

Where there are many, they aggregate to compose meaningful dialogue. In compilation, letters are capable of taking on a unique character, a voice with which personalities and identities begin to emerge.

Unsure whether this refers to the distinct glyphs that make up words or to the epistolary typology? The answer is both.

This experiment attempts to use the topic of design to pry open the cabinet of curiosities that is Greensboro, to inquire as to its means and methods, to start a conversation.

Be a part of the Dear Greensboro movement by writing and submitting your letter to the online archive! What are your hopes for Greensboro’s future? What is your favorite thing about it? Got a crazy idea for the city? Or for yourself as a young professional in the city? Write it in your letter! Letters can be signed or anonymous.
